RENT CLOTHES
What outfit ore you wearing at the moment? Do you
often wear it? Do you wear everything in your wardrobe?
Everyone has got things that they only wear on special
occasions. So why don·t people borrow those clothes
instead of buying them?
This is what an organization called Waste and Resources
Action Programme (WRAP)wants you to do.
WRAP wants everyone to stop buying so
many clothes and 'rent' them instead. Renting clothes is
cheaper than buying them, It's also a good way to fight
climate change.
WRAP says that companies make too many clothes
and this is a waste, Clothes factories also cause pollution,
so it's bad for the environment.
WRAP thinks that people don·t use their clothes
often enough,They buy a new outfit and then
only wear it two or three times! This is
especially true of children. because they
grow very fast! And if's also true for party
clothes. because people don't wear
party outfits very often. So, are you
happy to rent your next party outfit?
